Registration can be done online or on-site. Registration fees are set at 65 euros. They understand your book, your entry-level test, your totebag and a one-month free trial with our online self-study solution. They are valid for one year from the date of your first course.
The registration period includes consecutive weeks. In case of long-term absence, make two separate entries.
Any complete non-beginner learner must pass a level test before entering the training.
Registration is nominative and not transferable to another person
The reservation of your course will be effective upon receipt of full payment of the course and registration fees. Upon request, you will receive a certificate of registration necessary for your visa application
Payments by credit card online or bank transfer are accepted. Payments by check are no longer accepted as of January 1, 2019.

All bank charges are the responsibility of the student.
Any invoice not paid by the payment deadline will give rise to a lump sum compensation for recovery costs of €40 ( Article L 441-3 of the Commercial Code of the law of March 22, 2012).
If you need to cancel/modify/postpone your reservation, you must notify the Institut Francophonie by email BEFORE your scheduled arrival date.
Cancellation/modification/postponement 15 days or more, before your arrival: may entitle you to a credit. However, 100€ will be retained.
Cancellation/modification/postponement less than 15 days before your arrival: may entitle you to a credit. However, 200€ will be retained.
Cancellation/modification/report from the Friday before your arrival or after the scheduled date of arrival: no refund or credit will be granted.
For student visa applications, the €500 confirmation deposit paid during pre-registration is non-refundable in the event of a visa refusal. You may reapply for a visa, and your deposit will be reusable for one year from the date your enrollment certificate is sent by the Francophonie Institute.
In case of early departure, no refund can be granted for any reason.
The institute has the right to modify or close a course in which the number of students is insufficient (6 people minimum). In this case, the fees will be fully reimbursed.
Excluding package registration, à la carte, the price of one hour of group lessons is 14 €.
Institut Francophonie or its employees will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, damage or injury caused during a course. Students must take out, in France or in their home country, insurance covering illness, loss of money, valuables or luggage, theft, interruption of internship for personal or health reasons, and civil liability.
Attendance in class is mandatory. A certificate of attendance and/or level will be issued upon request, with the exception of students with an absence rate exceeding 10%.
In case of inability to attend a class, to announce and justify this absence in the previous course, call the 02.53.78.26.44 or send an email to maude@francophonie-nantes.fr BEFORE the course.
Private classes : any lesson not canceled 24 hours in advance will be charged.
Late arrival in class : from a 15 minutes late, it is not possible to join the course. The student will be considered absent.
Minimum group sizes: during the year, Institut Francophonie reserves the right to close a group if the minimum number (6 students) is not reached, and/or to modify the days and times of the courses.
Formulas 7H,15H and 20H, the changes will be the following :
- 5 students in the group : lessons of 2H30 instead of 3H
– 3 or 4 students in the group: over 2H instead of 3H
- less than 3 students in the group : group closing and refund.
Formula 7 and 4 o'clock, the changes will be the following :
– 5 students in the group : course 1: 30 instead of 2 HOURS
– 3 or 4 students in the group: over 1 HOUR instead of 2 HOURS
- less than 3 students in the group : group closing and refund.
Missed classes cannot be refunded under any circumstances. They can be recovered in 3 cases:
- Child sickness : under presentation of the medical document (and a note from the host family for Au pairs)
- Illness: Provide a medical certificate
- Administrative appointment on a specified date: Provide a written justification.
School holidays :
French 4H and 7H/ week : no lessons during the school holidays (2 weeks) - Nantes = Zone B
Formulas 15H and 20H/week: no classes only during the first week of school holidays
Any claim must be made and sent to the directorate by email (by maude@francophonie-nantes.fr) and it will be processed within 48 hours.
In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions, Institut Francophonie reserves the right to interrupt a student course without financial compensation.
